Stanley Freundlich, managing partner of Berdon LLP, has been with the firm since 1962. Assuming the firm leadership in 1987, he has guided Berdon's rise to rank among the largest CPA and advisory firms in the country. Mr. Freundlich sets the tone for the firm with visionary leadership and imagination coupled with an uncompromising expectation for professional excellence among partners and staff. He provides insights and advice on all aspects of the firm including management, operations, marketing, and professional growthwhere he developed the firm's distinctive entrepreneurial approach to client service. To help drive the success of the firm, he has assembled select teams of professionals with specialized expertise in a wide array of niche areas. Under Freundlich's leadership, Berdon is widely regarded as the nation's premier accounting firm in real estate. A distinguished advisor in the real estate community, he consults with many of the nation's largest real estate families, management companies, and prominent investment housesworking closely with developers, owners, operators, and investors of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties, as well as institutional lenders involved with commercial real estate projects. For these clients, he structures, reviews, and negotiates complex real estate transactionsacquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, refinancings, and lease negotiationstotaling billions of dollars. He also helps formulate the sale or purchase price of the real estate and is fluent in the rules, regulations, and procedures surrounding the loan initiation process. In 1966, he obtained his license as a certified public accountant in the State of New York.
