As Riley's chief financial officer, Pete is responsible for the accounting, human resources, insurance, contracting and information technology departments. His 20 years in the financial and accounting world started in public accounting, when he came to Riley from Clifton Gunderson, having served as partner in charge of their Kenosha office. Pete's keen financial and management background provides the critical insight and direction that has allowed Riley Construction to remain one of the most financially-stable construction firms around today. He is also a key member of the company ownership, providing direction on the company's strategic initiatives and business issues. Pete is a graduate of Carthage College, with bachelor's degrees in business administration and accounting. A licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in Wisconsin and Illinois, he maintains professional memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a current board member of the Southeast Wisconsin Council of the Boys Scout of America Board of Directors, an active member in the community as a Rotarian, and serves on the board of MargaretAnn's Placea nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the distinctive needs of grieving children. Pete also volunteers his time and financial expertise to serve as board treasurer for the Kenosha Country Club and serves on the finance committee for the Neighborhood Housing Services of Southeast Wisconsin.
