Construction is in Dave's blood. It started at the young age of 10 when he first got a feel for what goes on in the construction business, being tasked with washing Riley trucks and cleaning the office by his dad and company founder Charles Chuck? Riley. While attending Arizona State University, Dave spent his summers working on job sites, learning the trades while gaining a personal appreciation for the skill and craftsmanship that goes into each Riley Construction project. After graduating with his bachelor's degree in construction he rolled up his sleeves and got right back to work, this time in project management starting with a large, national firm. Dave rose through the ranks, serving from as a project manager to division manager up to vice president of operations and today as president. Dave is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership necessary to deliver superb customer service and client satisfaction by implementing best practices and maintaining consistency across the company's business operations. He was integral in the evolution of the company's core values Humility, Integrity, Flexibility and Initiativeor HIFI. It is these HIFI values that guide the direction of the company and are entrenched in each project Riley Construction undertakes. By looking at each project and every relationship through the HIFI value set, project success and a positive customer impression is elevated to Riley Construction's signature project delivery experience. In addition to his role as Riley Construction's chief executive, Dave maintains a steadfast commitment to the community and advancing the construction industry by serving on numerous boards. He is board vice president with the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin and serves on the Johnson Bank Advisory Board. He is currently president of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kenosha and further supports community organizations such as MargaretAnn's Place and Boys & Girls Club/CYC Sports through various board/committee activities and contributions.
