Jim LaFleur joined Vanguard Energy Partners as Chief Executive Officer in April 2010 to help guide and expand the rapidly growing company. Mr. LaFleur has held executive level positions in real estate, construction, and mining throughout the United States and overseas. Mr. LaFleur is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who served in countries across the globe, including Iraq and Kuwait during the Gulf War. He possesses 30 years of leadership and experience in the private and military sectors. Mr. LaFleur is a skilled leader accomplished in building, training, and motivating cross functional teams. He has supported community efforts by serving on foreign trade zone and economic development boards of directors. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University and a Master's degree from Central Michigan University.
