Alex Rivera directs and oversees all aspects of business development and is a founding partner of Vanguard. His expertise and commitment to public policy as the driving force behind the proliferation of clean energy generation has contributed to Vanguard's success in the U.S. and Caribbean markets. Mr. Rivera's 15 years of business development strategies have contributed to Vanguard's fast growing success. His expertise in the renewable energy sector is broad and includes construction services and business development to government solar incentives and financing solutions. Mr. Rivera was part of the team that developed the first commercial net-zero electric building (31 Tannery Project) and is a member of the New Jersey Alliance for Action Energy Committee, the Solar Energy Industry Association and serves on the steering committee for the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy.org. He earned a bachelor's degree in International Studies at the University of South Florida.
