Mona Hanna is the Managing Partner at Michelman & Robinson's Orange County office and a member of the Firm's Commercial and Business Litigation Department. Mrs. Hanna is a versatile litigator who represents her clients in all aspects of employment law with a specialization in class action defense. She has served as lead counsel on a number of class actions and obtained several precedent setting victories, including her successful defense in a "lemon law" case for the national motorcycle manufacturer, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. Mrs. Hanna brings over two decades of experience in complex litigation and vigorously represents her clients in a broad range of commercial and employment disputes. She frequently litigates matters in state and federal court, involving wage and hour issues, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, wrongful termination, sexual harassment and employment discrimination; and represents her clients before administrative agencies including the California Department for Fair Employment and Housing, the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Mrs. Hanna's considerable trial experience has provided her with the expertise to not only represent employers in the courtroom, but to counsel them in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. She guides clients in avoiding costly litigation by developing, reviewing and implementing personnel policies and employee handbooks. Her achievements have often been recognized in the Daily Journal and she has been named one of Southern California's "Super Lawyers," from 2005 through 2011. In 2008 she was inducted into the honorary trial attorney society, the Litigation Counsel of America? and Super Lawyers named her one of the Top 50 Attorneys in Orange County in 2009 and 2010.
