Ronald Camhi is a partner at Michelman & Robinson's Los Angeles office and is the Chair of the Firm's Advertising, Marketing and Media Department. Mr. Camhi has a unique practice in Advertising, Marketing and Media law. His areas of expertise also include business and commercial real estate law. Practicing in these areas has enabled him to have a uniquely insightful perspective when advising clients. He often represents clients in a capacity similar to that of a general counsel of a company and plays an integral part in advising his clients? "inner-circle" decision makers. Mr. Camhi represents many of the nation's largest media agencies in numerous aspects of their operations, including negotiating and drafting agreements with advertisers, agencies and media outlets. He is one of the few legal experts in this field. He is routinely called on to advise clients relative to traditional media, branded entertainment, online advertising, social media, mobile marketing, privacy issues, marketing and sales practices, and licensing, among others. He utilizes this expertise to navigate his clients through the evolving legal landscape, while proactively advising them on new business opportunities. To that end, he is called on by leading trade associations as a participant on panels as a speaker and moderator, and to serve in an advisory capacity. In his real estate and business practice, Mr. Camhi represents clients in multi-million dollar sales and acquisitions, financing, and commercial leasing matters. He regularly negotiates a broad range of business and commercial transactions including business purchase and sale transactions, secured transactions, and personal property leases. Mr. Camhi was an Intern to Howard M. Metzenbaum, U.S. Senator, Washington, D.C. and worked on numerous matters for the Senate Judiciary and Labor Committees, including judicial confirmation hearings and the McCarran Ferguson Act. During law school, Mr. Camhi was nominated to the Board of Governors of the Moot Court Honors Program. He was the recipient for the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Criminal Procedure and received numerous scholarships. Mr. Camhi is consistently named to the state's most prestigious achievement lists including Super Lawyers? and Who's Who in Jurisprudence.
