Doug Frankel has been an executive recruiter for the life science industries since 1991. He joined National Search Associates in 1993. Doug has completed numerous critical, executive-level searches which have resulted in him becoming one of the top life science recruiters nationwide. This is due to his aggressive style, strong network connections and direct recruiting background. As the top producer at National Search Associates he has also been mentoring, developing and managing a group of recruiters and researchers since 1994. His current client base includes several major pharmaceutical corporations and select biotechnology organizations. His fields of expertise and experience are broad, covering nearly 40 technical disciplines within R&D including: Director/Vice Presidential level Clinical Development and Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Development; Preclinical Development/Pharmacology/ Toxicology/Pathology/ Lab Animal Resources; VIP's in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Manufacturing/Process Development. He also has significant recruiting experience in drug discovery within seven different therapeutic areas including Cardiovascular/Metabolic Disease, Neurosciences, Oncology and Infectious Disease. In the last five years Doug has had significant focus in Sales and Marketing/Business Development/Finance and Human Resources. Doug was born in New York and raised in California. He attended the University of California at Irvine and received a Bachelor's of Science degree. He has been with National Search Associates since February 1993 and lives with his wife and two children in Olivenhain, California.
