A member of the Rivers team since 1974, Mr. Brewer has worked in all aspects of the business and, under his leadership, the company has seen tremendous growth and prosperity in recent years. Responsible for the overall management of the company operations, he brings an understanding of the engineering business with a working knowledge of all of the services the company delivers to its clients. His command of engineering principles, innovative technical applications and business operations is well known in engineering circles and he has provided his expertise in design, project management, and technical guidance for a variety of commercial, residential and government projects. Mr. Brewer holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina and a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a board member of the Professional Services Management Association as well as a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Professional Engineers of North Carolina, Home Builders Association and Consulting Engineers Council of North Carolina. Mr. Brewer also serves on the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission (NC EMC), NC EMC Groundwater Committee, NC EMC Water Quality Committee, and NC Sedimentation Control Committee.
