He also handles automotive and product liability related cases. Professional Background Mr. Alfini joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in June 1999. From 2008 to 2010, Illinois Super Lawyers magazine named Mr. Alfini annually to its Rising Stars list. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Alfini was a data management professional in the field of pharmaceutical research. He also spent several years in Prague in the Czech Republic working as a clinical outcome medical research assistant in the field of cardiac and transplant surgery under the Czech Ministry of Health. Publications and Presentations Mr. Alfini co-authored "Medical Information and Communication Network: A Case Study on the Use of Health Systems Research in the Czech Republic," which was presented at the Third General FICOSSER/WHO Conference in Helsinki, Finland in 1994.
