Roy Bossen concentrates his practice in corporate health care. He has represented numerous hospitals and physician groups in corporate and regulatory matters. Mr. Bossen has extensive experience in compliance counseling, structuring and implementing joint ventures, physician contracting and compensation, establishing and representing medical practices and the acquisition and sale of medical practices. Mr. Bossen also has significant experience in regulatory, tax exemption and accreditation counseling. He is regularly involved in drafting and reviewing medical staff bylaws, corporate bylaws, managed care contracts, and medical legal policies and procedures. Professional Background Mr. Bossen joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in December 1985. He is the Leader of the firm's Health Care Practice Group. Mr. Bossen is a member of The American Health Lawyers Association and is a past President of the Illinois Association of Health Care Attorneys. He served as an Adjunct Professor at George Williams College from 1983 to 1985. Mr. Bossen has been recognized by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in the category of Health Law. In addition, he has been rated by Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability. Since 2005, Mr. Bossen has been named annually to the Super Lawyer list in the area of Health Care Law, by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine.
