WEAR Lab UCF

WEAR Lab UCF is a research laboratory based in Orlando, Florida. The lab employs 9 individuals and is focused on wearable technologies that assist, enable, or augment human activities. WEAR Lab UCF occupies a 1,400-square-foot facility located in the Research 1 building, Room 313. The lab specializes in developing innovative technologies through research and development. They conduct testing and evaluation of these technologies, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations. WEAR Lab UCF boasts state-of-the-art equipment for measuring human movement biomechanics, including a force-plate instrumented treadmill, motion capture camera system, electromyography, inertial measurement units, and cardiopulmonary measurement masks. They also have robotic platforms, sensors, and real-time controllers to implement and evaluate different design and control approaches.
