UAB Center for Exercise Medicine

UAB Center for Exercise Medicine is a research center located in Birmingham, Alabama. Established in 2011, the center is comprised of over 200 members, trainees, 36 departments, and 10 schools, reflecting its multi-disciplinary approach. UCEM focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms behind exercise-induced adaptations and their applications in disease treatment and prevention.
