Harvard College Undergraduate Research Organization HCURA

The Harvard College Undergraduate Research Association (HCURA) is a non-profit organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2007, HCURA is dedicated to fostering a vibrant research community among undergraduate students at Harvard University. With a team of 17 employees, HCURA works to increase the visibility and scope of undergraduate research through a variety of initiatives. HCURA offers numerous programs and resources to support undergraduate researchers. These include the Peer Advising Program, connecting upperclassmen with freshmen interested in research; the Visitas Undergraduate Research Symposium, showcasing student research to prospective students; The Labs Database, a comprehensive directory of Harvard labs offering research opportunities; and Brevia, a publication featuring accessible summaries of cutting-edge research. Beyond supporting Harvard students, HCURA hosts the National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC) annually. This national conference provides a platform for undergraduate researchers from across the United States to share their work, connect with peers, and learn from distinguished speakers and panelists.
