Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance Corps

The Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a volunteer organization based in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Comprised of three employees, the corps is dedicated to serving the Borough of Franklin Lakes and surrounding municipalities. The Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides ambulance service and pre-hospital care to the community without charge. In addition to their emergency response services, the corps offers standby coverage and assistance to the Police and Fire Departments for events such as fires, disasters, and community gatherings. All volunteer members are certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and maintain their qualifications through rigorous training requirements. They complete 250 hours of initial training and 48 hours of continuing education every three years. Members also participate in on-the-job training and elective courses to ensure their skills are up-to-date.
