Bethesda Fire department

Bethesda Fire Department is a fire department located in North Carolina and employs 20 to 49 people. They serve a district covering 33 square miles in the eastern part of Durham County, providing services to 8500 residences and 678 businesses, including a portion of Research Triangle Park. Bethesda Fire Department operates out of two stations. Station #1, located at 1724 South Miami Boulevard, houses an array of apparatus including pumpers, a ladder truck, a heavy rescue vehicle, a squad truck, and two ambulances. Station #2, situated at 7305 Leesville Road, is equipped with a quint, a pumper/tanker, and a brush truck. Both stations maintain 24/7 staffing composed of full-time, part-time, and volunteer firefighters. Bethesda Fire Department personnel are highly trained and certified, holding a range of qualifications including North Carolina Firefighter Level II, North Carolina Rescue Technician, EMT-I, Hazardous Materials Operations Level, and NIMS certification. They also provide essential services such as fire prevention and education, and CRS (Child Restraint Systems – Car Seat Technician) training.
