Center for Space Emerging Technologies CSET

The Center for Space Systems (C-SET) is a Non-Profit Autonomous-Independent Organization based in Latin America. Founded in 2015 and employing 15 individuals, C-SET focuses on research and development in the field of space technology. C-SET's mission centers around three key areas: Space Robotics, Biomechatronics and Life Support Systems, and Space Construction and Architecture. Their work involves creating innovative proposals for space institutions and agencies, seeking technological solutions to enhance habitability on Earth and in space, and promoting the intersection of ancient cultural wisdom with space exploration. Driven by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, C-SET fosters a multi-collaborative environment where students, researchers, and professors from international institutions work together on multi-disciplinary entrepreneurship projects. The organization champions diversity, inclusivity, and women's empowerment, aiming to develop technology readiness levels (TRL) from 1 to 5.
