BIOGEM

BIOGEM is a genomics facility located in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Established in 2000, BIOGEM provides a range of services and resources to the UCSD research community. The company offers RNA sample analysis and quantification services, as well as processing for commercial array platforms from Illumina and Agilent. BIOGEM utilizes three Illumina 1G Analyzer instruments and supports a variety of sequencing assays, including DNA-sequencing, digital gene expression, small RNA sequencing, ChIP-sequencing, and bisulfite sequencing. In addition, they provide image scanning and data analysis services. BIOGEM acts as a core facility, providing access to expensive instrumentation and reagents, and a team of experts in genomics.
