CEO Zavi has 20 years of experience in management of highly successful R&D and product development programs. Born and raised in Israel, Zavi has served in the Israeli navy as a PT boat squadron commander. After receiving his engineering degree in 1984, he joined Standard Motor Products, LTD, a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, progressing over 12 years to head the electronic engineering group. In 1997 he left SMP to become Vice-President of Engineering with Transpo Electronics, a $150 million manufacturer of automotive electronics parts. Two years later he left Transpo and founded Zvetco. Shortly thereafter, he was joined by some of his best former employees. Zavi obtained an IE degree at the Technion in Haifa, Israel and has an MBA from Pace University, NY.
