She has been retained in hundreds of securities-related and financial valuation matters. In shareholder suits, she has analyzed damages, materiality, and causation in both securities fraud class actions and opt-out claims involving individual securities and funds; the impact of alleged accounting fraud on stock prices; class certification, tracing, and market efficiency-related issues in securities class actions; affected trading volume in class actions; and settlement value of securities class actions. Her securities- and finance-related work has included analyses of disputes involving auction rate securities, subprime lending related issues, the likelihood and impact of options backdating, the effects of alleged insider trading on stock prices and tender offer premiums, manipulation, suitability claims and churning in broker-customer disputes, ERISA-related claims, market timing and late trading-related situations, fund advisor fee structures, valuation of restricted stock and costs of illiquidity, damages and liability in derivative lawsuits, the impact of stock repurchases, valuation of financial assets, and business valuation, including reviews of merger/acquisition due diligence. She has also worked in insurance coverage disputes analyzing the reasonableness of settlements in various types of financial disputes, including securities fraud class actions and derivative suits. Dr. Juneja has testified and submitted affidavit and expert report testimony in US federal district and state court proceedings, in Canadian court, in international arbitrations, and in broker/dealer dispute arbitrations. She is also an arbitrator for FINRA. She has spoken frequently and published on various dispute related topics including damages, settlements, and proposed reforms in shareholder class actions and broker-customer disputes.
