Tiona Thompson joined Advantage Partners in 2002, after a 30-year career with Progressive Insurance. She leads the firm's diversified financial services practice from Henderson, Nevada, with additional responsibility for sales and marketing searches. During her last 11 years with Progressive, Ms. Thompson served as Chief Human Resources Officer with responsibility for all human resource systems, policies, and practices as well as a staff of more than 300 professionals. Previously, she had held a series of line management and division human resources positions at Progressive. Ms. Thompson holds a bachelor's degree from Baldwin-Wallace College. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and is affiliated with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., The Girl Friends® Inc., and United Negro College Fund. She also has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
