Thomas is a co-founder of Enviva and leads the global sales and marketing team, developing woodchip and pellet supply strategies and contracts for utility, industrial, commercial and residential customers both in the US and Europe. Through his efforts, annual sales have grown to over 600,000 tons of wood chips and biomass per year. He is responsible for our commercial customer relations as well as our marketing, communications and public affairs initiatives. He is one of the co-founders of the company. Previously, he focused on the sales and customer development efforts of our CHP business, leading to multiple long-term contracts and an operational footprint in Europe, Latin America and the USA. Thomas holds a Bachelor in Commerce from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (Austria) as well as an M.B.A. from The Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at The University of Virginia.
