As a principal with Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer & Garin, P.C. firm, Thomas G. Costello works closely with clients and accepts their problems and goals as his own. While possessing a broad range of experience, his practice focuses in the areas of business torts & commercial litigation, real estate litigation, title insurance defense, professional liability defense, and employment litigation. He has successfully pursued and defended claims for extraordinary relief, such as temporary restraining orders and injunctions, on behalf of clients. He also regularly counsels small, medium and large companies regarding legal matters related to their general business operations. Mr. Costello earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in Business Administration. After working for leading national advertising agencies for several years and gaining valuable practical experience, Mr. Costello turned to law and received his J.D. degree from Wayne State University, where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Program and represented the school in national competition. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice before all Michigan courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Michigan, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Costello is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association.
