Therese M. Doherty concentrates her practice in derivatives, futures and securities litigation. Therese defends clients against complex claims of fraud, RICO violations, violations of commodities and securities laws, and accounting improprieties in federal and state courts, including jury trials, and in arbitrations. She also defends financial institutions and individuals in investigative, enforcement and administrative proceedings initiated by U.S. Attorney's Offices, the CFTC, the SEC, Attorneys General, self-regulatory organizations including the NFA and FINRA and various commodity and security exchanges. Therese also represents financial institutions in employment related matters, including recruitment disputes, restrictive covenants and Form U-5 issues.
