Therese Baker serves as the VP Administration for Florida's Great Northwest. In her role, Therese directs all of the day-to-day administrative operations for the organization. She is responsible for financial transactions and accounting functions for Florida's Great Northwest, as well as those associated with the WIRED Northwest Florida Initiative grant compliance requirements. Therese is also in charge of contract negotiation and management for all of the organization's vendors. In addition, she oversees Florida's Great Northwest's IT architecture and infrastructure and is responsible for human resources activities. Therese has worked in public and private accounting for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Florida's Great Northwest, Therese was an Accountant with O'Sullivan Creel, LLP in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. In that position, she was responsible for preparing client financial statements, tax returns, and reports. Previously, she was the Vice President of Finance for All South Deliveries, Inc., a local delivery company with $8 million in annual revenues and multi-state operations. In her position there, Therese had responsibility for all aspects of finance and accounting, human resources, computer/networking operations, and employee training. Therese graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master of Business Administration degree and a Graduate Entrepreneurship Certificate. She received her undergraduate degree from Troy State University with dual majors in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. In addition, Therese has also completed the IEDC's basic economic development course.
