Susan O Hare is a Senior Vice President with the Executive Compensation and Governance practice at Integrated Healthcare Strategies. She brings over 20 years experience in the health care industry. Ms. O Hare has an extensive background in pediatrics highlighted by over ten years as the CEO of a children's hospital and in physician practice management in a multi-specialty and academic sub-specialty environment. Her robust experience has made her a recognized leader in health care and makes her an excellent resource to clients. Ms. O Hare has shared her passion and knowledge for the industry through leadership roles with multiple professional and Tennessee community health care affiliations. Most notably, she was a founding CEO Member and Board Chairperson for the Children's Hospital Alliance of Tennessee. She is a recognized community leader and has chaired multiple non-profit boards. Prior to joining Integrated Healthcare Strategies, Ms. O Hare held the role of Senior Vice President of Specialty Hospitals at Erlanger Health System, where she worked directly with the executives responsible for the operations of four of the five hospitals in the system and had total responsibility for strategic direction, program development, and operations of those four hospitals as well as the pediatric and women's services product lines for revenues of over $350 million and 1200 FTEs. Other career experiences include positions as the Director of Nursing for TC Thompson Children's Hospital, Nursing Director at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and nursing positions in Texas, Virginia and Alabama. She maintains her clinical expertise as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Ms. O Hare holds an MSN of Nursing in Child Health from the University of Texas at Arlington.
