Susan H. Eastridge is one of the founders of Concord Eastridge, Inc., and serves as its CEO. Her primary responsibilities involve the planning and development of build-to-suit facilities for corporations, educational entities and government agencies and urban mixed-use projects. In addition, she coordinates marketing and transactional strategies while supervising efforts of business development and marketing staff, real estate licensees and project consultants. Ms. Eastridge directs the overall company strategies and national business plan. She manages company-wide staffing and investment decisions and advises property owners, corporations and communities throughout the country about the creation and implementation of public/private partnerships for project development. She applies her expertise in mixed use development and hands-on development management to the company's national portfolio of projects. Ms. Eastridge brings a 25-year track record of success in the commercial real estate industry focused in the areas of property acquisition and disposition, development, leasing and management. Her experience includes the development of more than 7 million square feet of commercial space valued in excess of $1.5 billion and the acquisition/disposition of approximately $900 million in commercial property. She has leased more than 1.5 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space, and she also has directed a management portfolio of commercial properties totaling 3.8 million square feet. Summary of Experience Dividing her time between Virginia and Arizona, Ms. Eastridge focuses the majority of her efforts on national business development and predevelopment planning. She has overseen build-to-suit development and project financing as well as property disposition and acquisition for a variety of Concord Eastridge projects in Arizona, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas and California, as well as property transactions and new development assignments in many markets throughout the United States. During her career, Ms. Eastridge has addressed political issues ranging from the economic impact of major public expenditures to the investment strategies for individual properties, as well as the assessment of the market for major planned communities and urban redevelopment projects to single commercial and build-to-suit projects. Education/Licenses/Memberships Ms. Eastridge's undergraduate education in political science and economics was completed at Arizona State University where she was the first woman elected as student body president in the history of the University. She has completed the core curriculum toward a graduate degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate. Her professional affiliations have included the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP), Council of Education Facility Planners International (CEFPI), Industrial Development Research Council (IDRC, now CORENET), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE, now CORENET), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Ms. Eastridge has published numerous articles on real estate development and has been a panelist and speaker at a variety of professional conferences. She currently holds an active real estate broker's license in Arizona.
