As Chief Operating Officer, Steve Horowitz oversees product, editorial, technology and audience development across the Ziff Davis portfolio of Web and mobile properties. Horowitz was formerly president of OurWeddingDay.com, a division of David's Bridal, where he oversaw all aspects of OurWeddingDay.com and was responsible for developing strategic partnerships for the parent company. Prior to that, Horowitz was senior vice president, general manager at Bankrate Inc., the leading aggregator of personal finance and mortgage content. At Bankrate, he directed product and business strategy and spearheaded the portal's transformation into one of the leading destinations that allowed consumers to research and purchase consumer financial products, ranging from mortgages to deposit products to credit cards Prior to Bankrate, Horowitz served as vice president of e-commerce classifieds at AOL and held director positions in business and sales strategy for classifieds and local properties with Yahoo! and GeoCities. He also served as associate director of internet marketing for BMG Music Club (Bertelsmann), director of internet venues at eDrive.com and as online publicist for Turner Entertainment Group at Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. Horowitz received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English from the State University of New York at Oswego.
