Steve Albin VP Operations Steve Albin has over 16 years of corporate education experience in the Technology Training Industry. Prior to joining Online Trading Academy, Mr. Albin spent 12 years at New Horizons where he started as an instructor and quickly became an Operations Manager, supervising 50 instructors. Mr. Albin was promoted to the Executive Team where he served in several capacities, including Director of Content, Director of eLearning as well as Vice President of the Franchise Corporate University. During this time he managed a $20 million content business and $4 million online training business unit. Mr. Albin was recognized for his commitment to success during his tenure at New Horizons. He was awarded Instructor of the Month two months in a row (which was a first in New Horizons? history) and was nominated for the following commitment to excellence awards by his colleagues: Commitment to Employee Development and Growth,? Treat Each Other with Respect,? Dedicated to Quality and Excellence," and Achieve Success through Teamwork. He was awarded Think and Act like an Owner? commitment to excellence award. Mr. Albin joined the Online Trading Academy team in 2008, as Vice President of Operations. He has played a vital role in scaling the student support team, developing the company's intranet and online learning systems and expanding the curriculum of the Extended Learning Track (XLT) program. Mr. Albin received his BS in Mathematics with a Secondary (High School) Teaching Credential from Vanguard University in 1983. He later returned to school to receive his BS in Computer Science in 1987, from National University. He has been married for over 26 years to his wife, Janice and has 3 children (Chelsea, Kayla and Carson).
