Stephen W. Butler has been in private practice in Rogers, Arkansas since 1990 and is currently senior Partner in the wealth solutions, taxation and corporate transactions section for Keith Miller, Butler, Schneider & Pawlik, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in corporate transactions, including corporate governance, planning and formation, as well as executive compensation planning, asset protection planning, taxable estate and gift planning, taxation law, including tax return preparation, tax planning and tax litigation. Stephen became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1988. He was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1990 and the Missouri bar in 2010. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Arkansas, U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court. He received a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Arkansas in 1987 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in May 1990. Stephen is a frequent speaker at estate and financial planning seminars, including speaking engagements sponsored by Regions Morgan Keegan Trust, Smith Barney, National Committee on Planned Giving-Arkansas Council, St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, Morgan Stanley, AG Edwards & Sons, Inc., Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute (NARTI), Arvest Asset Management, Arkansas Society of CPA's, NWA Chapter, Allard Financial Advisors, LLC, Silver Summit- Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education, Simmons First Bank Mastermind program, and Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation. Stephen was also named to the 2005 Arkansas Business Journal 40 under 40, and the 2005 Northwest Arkansas Business Journal 40 under 40.
