Steve Bair is the Senior Vice President of Construction of Simpson Housing and runs its construction management group. Mr. Bair and his team are responsible for day-to-day construction oversight on all development projects for Simpson and its partners. He and his group also provide in-depth physical due diligence services on all of Simpson's property acquisitions. Mr. Bair joined Simpson in 1996 from the Trammell Crow Company and originally served as the general manager of Simpson's construction company. He has over 34 years of work experience in residential and commercial construction encompassing over 24,000 residential units in 111 communities, 3.5 million square feet of commercial space in 47 projects and 33 military base projects. He has been a licensed general contractor in 19 states during his career. Mr. Bair obtained a BA degree from North Carolina State University, and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro after serving in the US Navy.
