When Skip Cimino was appointed President and CEO of RWJ Hamilton in 2009, he had over 20 years of leadership experience with the organization, having served as a member of the board of directors since 1988. During that time, he served as chairman of the board. He also served on the board of directors for the Robert Wood Johnson Health System and the Lakeview Child Centers, which are affiliated with the hospital. Mr. Cimino has an extensive management career in both the public and private sectors. He also served as Commissioner of Personnel for the State of New Jersey and was elected to the State Assembly and Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders. As head of the RWJ Hamilton Health Care Corporation, Mr. Cimino oversees Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, an acute care hospital with over 1,800 employees, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Hamilton, several affiliated physician practices, seven Lakeview Child Centers, and ambulatory facilities in Columbus, Ewing, Hamilton and Robbinsville.
