Sharon Rollins Singer brings to Singer Associates extensive experience in corporate accounting, information technology, systems development and agency management. Prior to joining Singer Associates, Ms. Rollins served for more than 10 years as the Executive Director of Berkeley Therapy Institute, Inc., a non-profit psychiatric outpatient clinic in Berkeley, California, where she was director of all internal systems. She was responsible for overall direction of the clinic and all accounting functions, and reported directly to the clinic's board of directors. She co-designed and implemented a medical billing system that has been in daily use for a decade and designed and implemented a proprietary accounting system. She maintained and upgraded the above database applications through many change requests and several software upgrades. Previously, Ms. Rollins was a member of the Professional Technical Staff at Princeton University and a member of the research group headed by Nobel Prize winning physicist, James W. Cronin. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with honors from the University of California and received her Masters Degree in Computer Science, also from the University of California, where she was a National Merit Finalist and a Regents Scholar.
