Rosella Miranda is Alphaport Inc.'s owner and Chief Executive Officer. After graduating from Cleveland State University with a degree in Science and Mathematics, Ms. Miranda formed Alphaport with her husband Anthony, an aerospace engineer, by offering for a fee afterschool and summer science programs to K through 12 students. Since 1999, the Mirandas have combined their talents to further expand Alphaport's products and services over the last 10 plus years to include space exploration technologies, advanced engineering services, and product development for government and the aerospace industry. The company has been awarded several prime federal government contracts and subcontracts with major aerospace corporations. In 2008, Alphaport was named the fastest growing private company in Northeast Ohio by Inc. magazine. With her roots in educational outreach and the transfer of experiential knowledge, Ms. Miranda established the company's Knowledge Management Services and Training as a core capability with KRMITS, a service offering an end-to-end turnkey process to develop knowledge-based systems that support an organization's information assets. Ms. Miranda is also a talented artist who worked at one time as a contractor for NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
