Since 1996, Rose Wang has served as CEO of Binary Group, guiding the overall corporate vision and strategy for the company. Along with company co-founder Ed Robinson, Ms. Wang has successfully moved Binary from its initial position as an IT services company to an enterprise-level firm that delivers strategic IT solutions to mission-driven professionals. Early in the history of her company, Ms. Wang made the decision to focus Binary's expertise on the business transformation needs of clients, providing strategies completely free of organizational conflict of interest (OCI). Wang's leadership has led Binary to record-breaking growth and recognition in the upper echelons of the government and commercial sectors. Ms. Wang is a 20-year seasoned technologist in her own right. Before founding Binary Group, she served as a software engineer for WorldCom LDDS WilTel and Sun JavaSoft/Lighthouse Design. Ms. Wang also acted as software architect and project lead for InLine Software's product integration project with Unisys, and consulted as a principal technologist with DynCorp Information System's Defense CFT. During the latter engagement, she led the initial technology solutioning team in developing software architecture for a defense logistics system. While overseeing marketing, sales, recruiting, and operations for her own company, Ms. Wang has personally consulted or worked as principal technologist on Binary Group strategies for MCI, Fannie Mae, Sprint, Cable & Wireless, the Army, the Federal Railroad Administration, and the Department of Energy. She is recognized widely for her core expertise in eBusiness Strategy, Enterprise JavaBeans, Software Reuse, and Object-Oriented Design Heuristics. A respected corporate leader, teacher, and mentor of software engineers, Ms. Wang participates actively in government, women's, and technology organizations. She speaks frequently at professional conferences and meetings on matters specific to technology, as well as broad business management. Ms. Wang holds an advanced degree in computer science from the University of Houston, Texas.
