Ron Granville joined Woodmont in 1974 and serves as Chairman and CEO. Actively involved in all aspects of the organization, Ron continually drives Woodmont? s success with his extensive industry knowledge and commitment to constantly raise the standards in real estate management, garnering him a reputation that is highly respected within the industry. Under his leadership, Woodmont's portfolio has grown to over 10,000 multifamily units and over 7,200,000 square feet of commercial space with assets totaling $3 billion. Ron is a graduate from the University of California Berkeley, holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation, and has taught real estate management courses for the College of San Mateo and California Apartment Association. Outside of his duties at Woodmont, Ron also contributes his time and efforts to numerous community and industry organizations, which have included the following: Vice President/Director of the San Francisco Bay Area Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) Chapter; President/Chairman/Director of the California Housing Council; Vice President/Director of the California Apartment Association; President/Director of the Tri-County Apartment Association; Director of the National Multi-Housing Council; Member of the Urban Land Institute; Trustee at the University of Notre Dame de Namur; President/Director of the Housing Industry Foundation; Member of the leadership committee for the American Cancer SocietyRelay for Life and a member of the Board of Directors at NAI BT Commercial Real Estate.
