Mr. McNamara concentrates his area of practice on toxic tort and product liability. Mr. McNamara began his legal career as a Cook County Assistant State's Attorney prosecuting criminal cases and criminal citations for environmental violations. He has appeared before the Illinois Supreme Court and argued several cases in the First District Appellate Court. His success as a trial attorney has been recognized by his peers who have nominated him with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Along with speaking at various professional seminars on and authoring journal articles on pertinent issues related to his practice, Mr. McNamara is the vice chair of the Defense Research Institute, a featured speaker at Mealey's National Lead Litigation Conference, and author of the article "Emerging Trends In Lead Litigation" that appeared in the Illinois Bar Journal. He is a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
