Bob Hildeman co-founded Streambox, Inc. in 1999 with a simple vision: to help realize streaming media's potential to transform communities, governments, broadcasters, and the everyday lives of citizens. Today, Streambox is a leading provider of award-winning low bandwidth video solutions, with a family of unique software and hardware products that leverage IP networks as a cost-effective, reliable, and nearly ubiquitous means of acquiring and transporting video. The Streambox® Live? service is a cloud-based, many-to-many video broadcasting service targeted to domestic and global media companies, government, NGO's, military organizations, and enterprise customers worldwide. A 20-year veteran of the software industry, Hildeman draws on a solid background in business management and development, marketing and sales, and entrepreneurial know-how to manage corporate vision and strategic direction at Streambox. Prior to co-founding Streambox, Hildeman co-founded several software companies where he developed and directed successful go-to-market strategies that resulted in many key wins from Fortune 500 companies and international customers. Hildeman holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Washington, and was formerly a registered architect.
