Bob's career in the financial services industry began in 1970 when, after graduating from Miami of Ohio, he joined the Equitable Life in Chicago. He immediately established himself as a leader from the very beginning and became one of the regions top five advisors in each of his first five years with the company. This achievement made Bob the youngest advisor in the history of the company to qualify for its Hall of Fame. The following year Equitable promoted him to the District Sales Manager position in Cleveland, Ohio. This was a great promotion, but more importantly, it brought Bob and his wife Jeanne back home to raise their family. Understanding that the next step in his career with Equitable would have been a move to New York City and more travel, Bob opted for family and home. He decided to build a private financial planning practice in the Cleveland, Ohio area. His firm immediately established itself as one of the fastest growing firms in northeastern Ohio receiving national recognition with their broker dealer ProEquities, Inc., as well as local recognition by receiving the Fast Track 50 Award in 1993 for Lake and Geauga Counties. After 25 years in private practice, in 2001 Bob incorporated his private practice into Skoda Minotti Financial Services and became the partner in charge of Skoda Minotti's rapidly growing Wealth Management Practice. Bob believes that the success of the practice's growth can be credited first to hard work and delivering on promises to clients, but perhaps most importantly, the firm's ability to attract and employ extremely bright people. Excelling in counseling clients through estate and financial planning matters, Bob has received the prestigious National Sales Achievement Award and the National Quality Award in each of his 31 years in this business. He was also recognized by the Million Dollar Round Table at the age of 31, as the youngest ever? qualifying and Life Member to be admitted at that time. Bob received his Certified Senior Advisor designation (CSA) in 2002. He is a member of the International Association for Financial Professionals and the National Association of Financial Planning.
