Robert J. Amter Robert (Bob) Amter is President and founder of Montegra Capital Resources LTD. He has owned and operated Montegra since its inception in 1971, making him one of the most experienced and respected private lenders in the country. Prior to starting Montegra, he owned and operated apartment houses and commercial properties. Experiencing first hand the lack of flexibility of banks and commercial institutional lenders, he founded Montegra to offer real estate owners the type of lending opportunity that did not exist, but that was greatly needed. Bob is a native of Denver, and received a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.A. from the University of Colorado.
