Mr. Garrett joined the firm in 1976 and became a shareholder in 1978. A trial lawyer for over 30 years, he is a member of the litigation practice group. He has extensive experience representing clients in a variety of complex litigation matters including professional liability, insurance defense, and products liability. In recent years, Mr. Garrett has focused on the defense of medical malpractice and personal injury cases. He has also successfully defended "toxic tort" actions. Mr. Garrett is AV peer review rated in Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America for over 10 years. HONORS AND AWARDS Mr. Garrett has been AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell for over 20 years. In addition, he has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for over 10 years, and is listed in the Alabama Super Lawyers. He has also served as the president of the Trinity School Board and the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award Board, and as a member of the FCA Board.
