Rex Martin is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of NIBCO INC., a worldwide manufacturer of flow control system solutions for the residential and commercial construction markets for over 100 years. The fourth generation of his family to lead the privately-held Elkhart, Indiana-based manufacturing company, Martin was appointed Chairman of the Board in 1995. He has held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer since 1992, and was named President of NIBCO in 1986. Martin joined the company in 1975 and served in a variety of marketing, plant management and executive positions until his appointment as President. Martin currently serves on the following charitable Boards of Directors: The Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation, Elkhart Community Foundation, and the Red Cross Elkhart County Chapter. He is also a Board member of a publicly-traded for-profit corporation, 1st Source Corporation headquartered in South Bend, Indiana. Martin has been honored many times for his leadership and philanthropy by such organizations as the NAACP, Indiana University, Lion's Club International, and the American Federation of Philanthropy. He holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and a master's degree in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
