Peter Aynsley-Hartwell is the Vice President - Solutions Consulting for Utopia Inc. In this role, Peter is responsible for ensuring that the solutions offered by Utopia offer the most cost effective way to achieve this. Prior to this, Peter worked at Soltius as a Principal Consultant with particular focus on the Telecommunications industry. Peter has presented at numerous conferences and summits around the world on subjects covering asset management, KPI reporting, and using SAP in various industries most recently how SAP can be used in the Telecommunications industry. Peter provides suggestions to SAP on functionality related to Network Lifecycle Management developments within the SAP Telecommunications Industry Solution. Peter was able to utilize the 5 years he was at Indonesia's third largest mobile phone provider (>8,000,000 customers) in numerous senior management roles to ensure the solutions offered by Soltius to the Telecommunications Industry were practical, usable and offered the best use of the functionality available within SAP. His latest role was that of General Manager - Corporate Business Systems and Processes. He was responsible for the implementation of the eTOM process framework across the organization and also the assignment of business systems to support the processes. Particular emphasis was given to the Network Lifecycle Management using the functionality available in mySAP ERP. In March 2005 at the SAP Global Telecommunications Information Days in Miami, USA, this company was awarded a global award from SAP Germany for excellence in the implementation and adoption of the SAP Network Lifecycle Management functionality. Peter Aynsley-Hartwell is an experienced Senior Manager with involvement in more than 8 SAP implementations in either the Customer Manager or Implementation Manager role. The projects have been in many industries including, Food Processing/Manufacturing, Construction, Minerals Processing and Telecommunications. The projects have been a mixture of green-field implementations and upgrades/changes to existing operations. The Scope of the projects covered most of the operational areas of the organizations including Finance and Controlling, Asset Management, Procurement & Inventory Management, CAPEX Project Management, Plant Maintenance, HR Management & Payroll. In most cases Business Process advice was also a responsibility of Peter as the Project Manager. These projects included the management of the configuration of the system and the definition and collection of all the master data required for the operation of the system. In addition to Peters broad SAP project experience, he has wide experience within industry in various roles. As a Charted Professional Mechanical Engineer he worked in industry for 16 years before becoming a consultant, including11 years with Australia's largest sugar producer, 4 years with one of Queensland's most progressive dairy companies and a year with a company that is introducing new technology to the world's sugar industry.
