As a Vice President with HKGi Paul has played an important leadership role in the firm's continued success and growth. He combines a pleasant communication style with diligent client service and effective problem solving skills, an approach that has helped him build strong relationships with clients, communities and other project consultants. Paul plays an important role in transforming project designs into built projects by providing project management and construction expertise for many of HKGi's clients. His communication skills have been integral to his success in this type of leadership role. Paul has developed a specialty in the areas of development planning, neighborhood design, and parks and open space planning for both public and private clients. In his seventeen years of experience as a landscape architect, he has provided site design and planning services for projects of all scales from refined courtyards and public plazas to corporate campus planning and regional scale greenway initiatives. In addition to his work with HKGi, Paul serves the Vice Chair of the Elk River Park and Recreation Commission where he contributes to the resolution of planning, parks, and open space issues prevalent in his rapidly changing hometown. Paul has a Bachelor's of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
