About Patrick Frawley
Mr. Frawley began his career as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in 1973. He served with the OCC in Washington, DC headquarters and was the Director for Bank Supervision in the OCC's Southeast Region until he moved to the private sector in 1986. From 1986 until 2002, Mr. Frawley worked for Citizens & Southern National Bank (C&S) in Atlanta, C&S/Sovran, NationsBank and ultimately Bank of America (BofA) as senior credit officer, corporate treasurer, senior financial manager, chief compliance officer, and director of regulatory relations. When he left BofA in 2002, he was responsible for regulatory relations worldwide for the $650 billion bank. In 2002, he joined Community Bank, a troubled $750 million Alabama-based community bank. He led a team that turned the bank around and then sold it in 2006. In 2007, he joined Integrity Bank, a $1.1 billion community bank in Alpharetta, Georgia, which was also a seriously troubled bank. The bank was closed in August 2008. Following the closing, Mr. Frawley created a bank consulting firm that consulted with a variety of problem banks in Georgia and other southeastern states.
