Narinder was the Director, New Markets for Targus Asia Pacific (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Prior to that, he was Director of Operations, Gateway Singapore Pte Ltd. Narinder is intimately familiar with international business in the Asia Pacific region as well as the Middle East. Narinder began his career as a Management Trainee at Hindustan Lever India (Unilever) and rapidly grew within the organization to manage a flagship, national brand. He then moved to the Middle East to manage Hitachi's wide spread consumer electronics business. Under his leadership as Deputy General Manager, sales grew at a compounded annual rate of 15%. As General Manager at the International Watch Company in UAE, he developed and implemented an out-sourced supply chain strategy, encompassing product development, production and international sourcing for leading brands like Timex and EverSwiss. Narinder has an MBA from XLRI, India and a Masters in Physics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India. He received the prestigious "National Science Talent Scholarship" award at BITS and "Best Student in Economics" award at XLRI. He is a certified Gateway Six Sigma Green Belt and speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi.
