My name is Monika Hengesbach. I m a lifelong Bay Area resident with 20+ years experience helping business owners and professionals make smart tax and financial choices. I graduated from Terra Linda high school in Marin County before earning my Bachelor's degree in Business Management (with an emphasis in Accounting) from Sonoma State University. I started my accounting career while I was still attending college, spent over six years with a family-owned firm in San Rafael, and learned that a tax return is more than just a collection of numbers on paper forms. I founded Decision Financial Services when I found myself raising a daughter on my own. Running my own practice lets me focus my services on high-income individuals, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses. I understand that most accountants do a fine job recording the history that you give them. But I see my real value as helping you write your own!
