Mike Kester, Executive VP, was CEO of techniques.org, a Colorado e-learning company primarily serving the government sector, before joining RLS when the two companies merged in May 2009. In his role at RLS, Kester is responsible for ensuring that all of the company's projects achieve exceptional results that drive the organizational goals of RLS clients. Kester has a strong background in product development, business and organizational strategy, project management, and business operations. Before joining techniques.org and RLS, he worked as a client team manager for the management consultancy McKinsey and Company in its New York and San Francisco offices. He also worked as a financial analyst for Lehman Brother's Merchant Banking group in New York, analyzing and executing leveraged buyout investments, and as a summer associate for the Denver-based law firm Davis, Graham and Stubbs. Kester holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
