Michael co-founded Weston Presidio in 1991. Since 1979, Michael has invested in emerging growth companies and various industrial and service businesses. Prior to co-founding Weston Presidio in 1991, he served as the Senior Vice President of Security Pacific Venture Capital Group and Managing Director of its Boston office. He has served on the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies? Board of Governors, on the National Venture Capital Association's Board of Directors and on the Harvard University Board of Overseers. Previously, Michael was on the Board of Directors of Apple & Eve, Casella Waste Systems (NASDAQ: CWST), Coffee Connection, Hunter Fan Company, National Vascular Care, Petzazz, Star Manufacturing, Tekni-Plex, Tivoli Audio and Tweeter Home Entertainment, as well as numerous other companies. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Amscan Holdings, Durcon LabTops, Innovation Technology Group and Wolf Holdings Organization. Michael earned an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
