Maury J. Bell is a Managing Partner of the Firm. Since joining the Firm in 1999, he has completed 20 transactions, including the transactions related to DN Partners, L.P. He is on the board of directors of M&M Pump & Supply, Inc. and Chinada Holdings, Inc., and a board observer at Country Pure Foods, Inc., and Primary Packaging, Inc. Previously, Mr. Bell headed the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at EVEREN Securities where he completed 25 merger and acquisition transactions totaling more than $1.5 billion. Mr. Bell managed the ESOP-buyout of Kemper Securities from Kemper a/k/a EVEREN Securities, the sale of the firm's Beta Systems subsidiary and the initial public offering of EVEREN Capital Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Bell was a Managing Director and second highest-ranking member of the Midwest Corporate Finance Department at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., which he joined in 1986.
